| | If any one person possessed the artistic heart and soul of Beyond our Control it was Denny Laughlin. The trinity of the three mentors (Dave Williams' comedic genius; Joe Dundon's salesmanship) was complete with Denny's ability to convince even the most un-artistically inclined teenager that anything was possible. Armed with colored pens and matte board, Denny supervised the look and feel of the show until its final season in 1986.
